ABOUT US
Tri-Lakes Reading Council (TLRC) is an affiliate of the Arkansas Reading Association (ARA) and the International Reading Association (IRA) which is professional organization of individuals, institutions, and councils dedicated to promoting reading and developing literacy development.
GOALS
Tri-Lakes Reading Council supports the goals of the Arkansas Reading Association and
the International Reading Association by offering its members an opportunity to:
- Receive Professional Development Hours for Attending Sponsored Meetings and Workshops
- Become Actively Involved in the Advocacy of Literacy in Our Community
- Form Partnerships with Others to Improve Literacy
- Support Research to Promote Reading Practice and Policy
- Provide Leadership for Literacy Development Throughout Our Community, State, and World
